Six EuroVelo routes cross Poland, connecting the Baltic Sea, mountains, major cities, and Polish borderlands:
EV2 Capitals Route – from Berlin through Poznań and Warsaw, continuing east.
EV4 Central Europe Route – through Małopolska and Podkarpacie towards Ukraine.
EV9 Baltic–Adriatic – from Gdańsk through Poznań and Wrocław to the Czech border.
EV10 Baltic Sea Cycle Route – a scenic ride along the entire Polish coastline.
EV11 East Europe Route – from the Lithuanian border through Podlasie, Mazowieckie, Świętokrzyskie, and the Carpathians.
EV13 Iron Curtain Trail – a coastal route running parallel to EV10.
Together, they form nearly 5,000 km of long-distance routes, serving as the backbone of Poland's cycling network.
The easiest and most enjoyable riding is along the coast: on EV10 (Velo Baltica) and EV13 in the Pomeranian and West Pomeranian regions, over 80% of the route is complete and excellently signed.
On EV9, around 26% of sections are finished, mainly in the Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian regions. While EV2 is still in development, EV4 and EV11 offer impressive ready-to-ride sections in Małopolska and Świętokrzyskie (EV11), perfect for scenic excursions.
In total, 27.5% of Poland's EuroVelo network is fully signed, and approximately 34% can already be ridden comfortably on existing infrastructure.
Many routes still require support from maps or GPS tracks.
The map in Veloplanner shows the current alignment of all six routes, the development status of each section, and downloadable GPS tracks. Where the route is still under construction or temporarily impassable, we suggest safe alternative options that follow as close as possible to the future EuroVelo alignment.
This allows you to start planning multi-day adventures today, along routes that will become increasingly well-signed and developed according to European standards in the years ahead.
